How to Use Returnly with ShipHero
The Returnly integration with ShipHero provides all details for Returned Merchants Authorization (RMA) that are managed through them so that you can easily inspect and update inventory.
- How to Configure Returnly -
Log in to your Returnly Dashboard and go to the 'Your Account' menu that holds the following:
API Token; located on the 'Summary tab': If you do not have Returnly API access please email partners@returnly.com and request your Returnly API token for the integration. Please make sure that you have your store URL attached in the email.
The registered return address; located in 'Address' tab

When navigating to the 'Returns Policy' menu in Returnly Dashboard- disable the 'Auto-Restock Products' options due to ShipHero will be dealing with inventory updates.
- How to Configure ShipHero -
Log into app.shiphero.com > My Account > Stores
Click 'Settings' > Returnly API Settings for the store that you would like to use Returnly with
Next in the API Key field, insert the Returnly API Key; located in your Returnly Account Dashboard > Summary tab above
In the Warehouse field, you will select the warehouse that will match your registered return address; from your Returnly Account Dashboard > Addresses tab above
- How does the integration work? -
Once a customer requests a return, Returnly will create the RMA
The return will then be accepted manually or automatically, depending on your return policy
When the return is authorized, ShipHero will then put the information on to the app.shiphero.com > Returns for processing
- How to view and process Returns -
Just by going to app.shiphero.com your able to view your Returnly RMAs > Returns
If you want to display the Returnly RMA number instead of ShipHero's RMA number, you can configure the table to be viewed by the 'Partner ID'
As you have inspected the returned item and updated the inventory with using ShipHero, direct to your returnly dashboard tp process the refund
